Cosmic CRF Limited's subsidiary, Cosmic Springs & Engineers Limited (CSEL), has taken physical possession of a ~0.82-acre freehold industrial land parcel on September 16, 2025, to set up a new greenfield forging facility. The proposed plant will have an installed capacity of around 11,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) and will manufacture precision forging components for railway wagons, defence, and industrial use, including items like Yoke Pin Support, Back-stop, Toggle, and Knuckle Thrower. Production is expected to commence within six months, and machinery orders are already underway. The company, which recently integrated N.S. Engineering Projects and CSEL, says the expansion will lift its total installed capacity to 1,24,400 MTPA across the group and support its goal of becoming India's largest railway components solutions provider.
Positive medium-term signal — capacity addition in high-demand railway, defence, and industrial segments could support future revenue growth, but the project is still in the land-possession stage with no financial outlay or commissioning disclosed yet, so execution risk remains in the short term.
