Cosmo First Ltd has announced the appointment of Mr. Piyush Gupta as Business Head for Cosmo Speciality Chemicals Private Limited, its wholly owned subsidiary, effective May 18, 2026. The appointment is classified as an addition in role for a Senior Management Personnel (SMP). Mr. Gupta will retain some existing responsibilities related to export sales and marketing for Cosmo Films vertical of the company. He brings over 3 decades of international experience in operations, P&L oversight, multi-channel distribution, global sales and marketing, and business development. He holds a mechanical engineering degree from Moscow State Academy of Automobile and Tractor Machine Building, Russia.
This is an internal reorganisation within the Cosmo First group — a senior executive taking on a new subsidiary role while retaining existing duties. This does not constitute a CEO/CFO change or a board-level resignation, and is therefore unlikely to have any immediate material impact on the stock.
