Cosmo First Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Piyush Gupta as Business Head for Cosmo Speciality Chemicals Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, effective May 18, 2026. Mr. Gupta will retain some of his existing responsibilities related to export sales and marketing for the Cosmo Films vertical. He brings over 3 decades of international experience in operations, P&L oversight, multi-channel product distribution, global sales and marketing, and business development. Mr. Gupta holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Moscow State Academy of Automobile and Tractor Machine Building, Russia.
This is an internal reorganisation of senior management responsibilities across the group. The appointment expands Mr. Gupta's role to include subsidiary leadership while retaining key commercial functions, which could be seen positively as it keeps experienced leadership within the group.
