CP Capital Limited (formerly Career Point Limited) announced Q1 FY26 results alongside AGM details. Consolidated revenue from operations stood at ₹1,488.98 lakh, up 8.5% QoQ but down 12.2% YoY. Total income was ₹1,941.76 lakh (+21.3% QoQ). Consolidated profit after tax was ₹1,077.99 lakh, up 25.3% QoQ but down 13.1% YoY. The company recognised ₹159.88 lakh in expected credit loss (ECL) provisions. This is the first quarter reported as a registered NBFC after receiving RBI's Certificate of Registration on April 1, 2025. Earlier periods were restated following a Composite Scheme of Arrangement involving demerger of the education business and amalgamation of a subsidiary.
Strong sequential profit growth of 25% QoQ is positive, but YoY declines in revenue and profit (especially standalone PAT falling ~31%) reflect the NBFC transition and portfolio reshuffle. Shareholders should note the record date of September 22, 2025 for AGM e-voting, with the AGM on September 29, 2025, and approvals sought for new statutory auditor (S P Chopra & Co.) and related party transactions.
