Crown Lifters Limited has ordered a brand-new 150 MT crawler crane from Mumbai at an estimated cost of ₹3.54 crores, with delivery expected by mid-June 2025. This single purchase brings the company's total crane capital expenditure for the current financial year to approximately ₹10.03 crores. The new crane is aimed at strengthening its mid-size crane offerings across sectors like Refinery, Cement, Steel, Solar, Ports, Airports, and Metro/Bullet Train projects. The disclosure was made under SEBI Regulation 30 by Director & CFO Nizar N. Rajwani.
This is a routine capacity-expansion move for a crane rental company, signalling management's confidence in demand from infrastructure and industrial sectors. Shareholders may view it as a modest positive, as it expands the company's service portfolio, though the financial impact on earnings depends on utilisation rates of the new crane.
