Crude oil prices fall on possible US-Iran talks; Brent near $72 per barrel

Crude oil prices declined on Tuesday amid uncertainty over potential US-Iran talks in Doha, with conflicting signals from both sides raising doubts about the June 17 ceasefire agreement. Brent crude for August delivery fell 1.03% to $72.40 per barrel, while the September contract traded around $73.51. US WTI crude slipped 0.66% to $70.32 per barrel, even as Middle Eastern producers continued loading cargoes despite renewed tensions around the Strait of Hormuz.
