Crypto deposits outpace withdrawals by up to 6x in H1; millennials dominate India's investor base: Report

WazirX released its H1 2026 report showing crypto deposits outpaced withdrawals by up to 6x, with the average user being a 34-year-old working professional from a non-metro city. Over 82% of verified users come from non-metros, and around 50.8% are aged 25-34, highlighting millennial dominance in India's crypto investor base. The report noted 95% of post-restart traders were returning users, with Futures trading value rising 300% between March and June, and stablecoins accounting for 38.5% of trading volume.
