CSB Bank held its 104th AGM on August 26, 2025, via video conferencing, with 64 shareholders attending. All nine resolutions on the agenda were passed with requisite majority, including adoption of FY25 audited financials, re-appointment of Mr. Madhavan Menon as Director, appointment of BNP & Associates as Secretarial Auditors, appointment of Mr. Biswamohan Mahapatra as Non-Executive (Part-time) Chairman, and re-appointment of Mr. Pralay Mondal as MD & CEO for three years (Sept 15, 2025 to Sept 14, 2028). Two Special/Ordinary resolutions also approved continuing material related party transactions with promoter FIH Mauritius Investments Ltd and its subsidiary FIH Private Investments Ltd. The AGM speeches highlighted strong FY25 performance: total income ₹4,569 crore (+30% YoY), operating profit ₹910 crore (+17% YoY), net profit ₹594 crore, NIM at 4.13%, ROA 1.53%, ROE 15.44%, CRAR 22.46%, GNPA 1.57%, and NNPA 0.52%, with deposits at ₹36,861 crore and advances at ₹31,842 crore. The bank added 56 branches and 60 ATMs, reaching 829 branches and 791 ATMs, and is advancing its SBS 2030 strategy (Sustain, Build, Scale) targeting a mid-sized national bank by 2030.
Continuity in leadership is assured with the re-appointment of MD & CEO Pralay Mondal for another three-year term, and all key resolutions were approved with over 97% votes in favour, indicating strong shareholder confidence. The robust FY25 financial performance with industry-leading growth in deposits (+24%) and advances (+30%) along with healthy asset quality reinforces the bank's transformation trajectory, which is positive for long-term shareholders.
