Cummins India Limited reported record FY26 revenue of ₹11,950 Cr, up 18% YoY, driven by strong 19% domestic sales growth (₹9,961 Cr) and 12% export growth (₹1,989 Cr). Full-year PBT before exceptional items stood at ₹3,104 Cr with 26% margin, up 24% YoY, while PAT reached ₹2,330 Cr, up 22%. Q4 FY26 showed total sales of ₹2,963 Cr (up 23% YoY) with PBT margin expanding to 27.7% and net profit margin at 21.9%. Management attributed performance to a globally integrated supply chain, agile operations, and cost discipline amid strong customer demand. The company flagged monitoring of crude oil prices, commodity costs, and geopolitical uncertainties while maintaining a strong balance sheet and healthy cash position.
Strong margin expansion and record profitability indicate operational efficiency gains, which could support stock price appreciation. However, sequential moderation in Q4 sales and export headwinds suggest cautious optimism for near-term performance.
