Cummins India reported record revenue and profitability for FY26. Total annual sales rose 18% to ₹11,950 crore, driven by 19% growth in domestic sales (₹9,961 crore) and 12% growth in exports (₹1,989 crore). Full-year profit before tax stood at ₹3,104 crore with a 26% margin, up 24% year-on-year. For the March quarter, total sales were ₹2,963 crore (up 23% YoY), with domestic sales surging 30% to ₹2,513 crore while exports declined 6% to ₹450 crore. Q4 PBT was ₹820 crore at a 27.7% margin. Managing Director Shveta Arya credited the performance to a globally integrated supply chain, agile operations, and cost discipline. Management flagged rising crude oil prices and geopolitical uncertainties as challenges while remaining positive on domestic demand.
Strong operational performance with margin expansion signals effective cost control and pricing power. The 27.7% Q4 margin is a positive indicator for shareholder returns, though the export decline warrants monitoring.
