On 27 November 2025, promoters of Cybele Industries transferred 38,69,032 equity shares (36.17% of the company) by way of a gift. Mr. Joykutty and Mrs. Annamma Joy (parents) transferred their holdings to their sons, Mr. Thomas P Joy and Mr. George P Joy, who are also promoters. Each son received 19,28,516 and 19,40,516 shares respectively. After the transfer, Thomas P Joy's holding rose from 13.79% to 31.82% and George P Joy's holding rose from 14.05% to 32.19%, while the parents' stakes dropped from 28.36% and 15.87% to 4.03% each. The transfer qualifies as an inter-se transfer among immediate relatives under Regulation 10(1)(a)(i) of SEBI SAST Regulations, 2011, and is exempt from the open-offer requirement. The aggregate promoter and promoter group holding remains unchanged overall.
This is a pure family-level reshuffle of promoter ownership with no change in total promoter control (stays around 72%), so there should be minimal effect on the stock price or minority shareholders. The controlling family continues to hold the same overall stake, just distributed across the next generation.
