Cybele Industries has subscribed to additional equity shares in two of its wholly-owned subsidiaries — Cybele Electronics Private Limited and Cybele Electra Private Limited — through their rights issues, allotments of which were done on 06/02/2026. In Cybele Electronics, the company invested Rs. 4.35 crore for 43,50,001 shares of Rs. 10 each, taking its stake to 75% (down from 100%). In Cybele Electra, it invested Rs. 3.20 crore for 32,00,000 shares of Rs. 10 each, taking its stake to 80.72%. As a result, both entities have ceased to be wholly-owned subsidiaries and are now regular subsidiaries. Cybele Electronics (manufacturing of wires and cables) reported a turnover of Rs. 129.18 lakhs in FY25, while Cybele Electra (trading of wires and cables) reported Rs. 135.30 lakhs. The funds are intended to support working capital, debt repayment, and business expansion.
Minor dilution of the company's holding in its two operating subsidiaries, though both remain subsidiaries (not third-party entities). For shareholders, this signals that the company is deploying capital to fund subsidiary growth and debt servicing; the related-party transactions are at arm's length and exempt under SEBI rules.
