Cybele Industries reported a sharp turnaround in Q3 FY26, swinging to a standalone net profit of ₹501.33 lakhs from a loss of ₹164.68 lakhs in Q3 FY25, on total income of ₹1,788.59 lakhs versus ₹579.72 lakhs. For the nine-month period, standalone PAT was ₹1,721.60 lakhs compared to a loss of ₹1,155.72 lakhs a year ago, with EPS of ₹16.10 against negative ₹10.81. Consolidated nine-month PAT was ₹1,662.39 lakhs versus a loss of ₹1,302.60 lakhs earlier. The Real Estate segment was the key driver, contributing ₹2,290.92 lakhs in revenue and ₹2,252.67 lakhs in segment profit over 9M FY26 versus zero revenue in the prior year, while the Cables segment remained loss-making at a segment loss of ₹418.86 lakhs despite revenue growth. Statutory auditors Karpagam Krishnan and Natarajan issued an unmodified limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
The swing to a large profit is almost entirely driven by the Real Estate segment coming online, so the quality of earnings may be less sustainable; the Cables core business is still loss-making year-to-date, which investors should monitor closely.
