CyberTech Systems and Software Ltd has approved a buyback of up to 8,50,000 equity shares (2.73% of paid-up capital) at ₹170 per share for a total consideration of up to ₹14.45 crore. The record date for determining eligible shareholders has been fixed as May 29, 2026. The company also reported FY26 standalone revenue of ₹160.39 crore with profit after tax of ₹23.37 crore, down about 5% YoY. Consolidated PAT for FY26 was ₹30.43 crore, down 13% from ₹34.93 crore in FY25. The board also recommended a final dividend of ₹4 per share for FY26, unchanged from the previous year.
The buyback at ₹170 per share offers an above-market premium to exiting shareholders and signals management confidence in intrinsic value. The fixed record date (May 29, 2026) allows shareholders to plan their participation. Declining profits in FY26 add some uncertainty around the sustainability of shareholder returns.
