Cyient Limited has completed the acquisition of a 74% majority stake (on a fully diluted basis) in Kinetic Technologies for a total consideration of USD 85 million. The acquisition was executed through Cyient Semiconductors Singapore Pte. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Cyient Semiconductors Private Limited. This follows an earlier announcement made on 17 December 2025 announcing the deal. Kinetic Technologies is being brought into Cyient's semiconductor business vertical as part of its growth strategy.
This acquisition strengthens Cyient's semiconductor portfolio and expands its capabilities in the semiconductor space. For shareholders, the deal is already completed and funded, so the focus shifts to how quickly Kinetic Technologies can be integrated and contribute to revenue and margins in the coming quarters.
