Cyient Limited's semiconductor arm, Cyient Semiconductors, has successfully completed an USD 85 million majority-stake investment in Kinetic Technologies, a US-based power semiconductor solutions provider. Kinetic Technologies brings over 100 silicon-proven IPs and more than 250 high-volume custom and ASSP products in power management, protection, display power, and interface solutions. The deal gives Cyient Semiconductors immediate commercial scale and access to a $44 billion global market opportunity in power and compute infrastructure. Kinetic Technologies will continue to operate under its existing leadership with strategic oversight from Cyient Semiconductors.
