Dabur India Limited has signed a definitive agreement to pick up a minority stake in RAS Beauty Private Limited, a Raipur-based luxury 'farm-to-face' skincare D2C brand, for about Rs 60 crore. This is the first investment from Dabur Ventures, a new investment platform the company launched in October 2025 with a Rs 500 crore capital pool aimed at backing high-potential new-age D2C businesses in personal care, health care, wellness foods, beverages, and Ayurveda. RAS Beauty, founded by three women (Shubhika Jain, Suramya Jain and their mother Sangeeta Jain), offers face elixirs, serums and moisturisers built around natural actives and has reported a roughly 75% three-year CAGR with an annualised revenue run-rate near Rs 100 crore and high gross margins. The deal gives Dabur exposure to the fast-growing premium, natural beauty segment that sits alongside its traditional Ayurvedic portfolio.
The ticket size is modest (Rs 60 crore out of a Rs 500 crore allocation), so direct earnings impact is small, but it signals Dabur's strategic push into the premium D2C beauty space and could be viewed positively as a portfolio future-proofing move. Shareholders should watch for further deployments from Dabur Ventures.
