Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Limited published its audited financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026 in newspapers Financial Express and Dinamani. For Q4 FY26, consolidated total income was Rs 1,025.06 crore, nearly flat compared to Rs 1,031.79 crore in Q4 FY25. However, net profit after tax dropped significantly to Rs 103.52 crore from Rs 198.76 crore in the year-ago quarter. For the full year FY26, total income stood at Rs 3,711.76 crore (vs Rs 3,786.16 crore in FY25), while net profit after tax fell to Rs 235.66 crore from Rs 365.50 crore in FY25. Consolidated EPS for FY26 was Rs 29.12 compared to Rs 45.15 in FY25, indicating a substantial decline in profitability.
The company experienced a significant decline in profitability despite stable revenues, with full-year net profit falling by about 35% year-on-year. This could be a concern for investors as it suggests margin compression or increased costs during FY26.
