The company is facing a retrospective demand of Rs. 21.10 crore from the UP Excise Commissioner for export pass fees on ethanol supply, covering FY 2018-19 to FY 2025-26. The company, along with the UP Sugar Mills Association, challenged this demand before the Allahabad High Court (Lucknow Bench).
