Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Ltd has published its audited financial results for Q4 FY26 and the full year ended March 31, 2026. Consolidated total income for FY26 was Rs 3,711.76 crore, down slightly from Rs 3,786.16 crore in FY25. Net profit after tax fell significantly to Rs 235.66 crore from Rs 365.50 crore in the previous year - a decline of about 35.5%. For Q4 standalone, the company reported net profit of Rs 105.46 crore on total income of Rs 1,025.06 crore. EPS for FY26 stood at Rs 29.12 per share compared to Rs 45.15 in FY25.
The sharp decline in profitability despite flat revenue indicates cost pressures or unfavorable operating conditions. This could be a concern for shareholders as it suggests weakening margins in the sugar, cement, refractories, and power businesses.
