DAM Capital reported total income of ₹237 Cr for FY26, down 5.2% Y-o-Y from ₹250 Cr, and profit after tax fell 30% to ₹73 Cr from ₹104 Cr. The sharp decline was driven by a weak Q4 FY26 where PAT was just ₹0.2 Cr due to zero IPO launches amid geopolitical uncertainties and tariff impacts delaying deal execution. Merchant banking revenue dropped 2.6% to ₹151 Cr while stock broking revenue fell 12.8% to ₹71 Cr. The company maintains a robust IPO pipeline of 25 IPOs (4 added in Q4), and has executed 96 ECM transactions raising ₹1,60,000+ Cr since November 2019. Despite lower profitability, net cash grew to ₹311 Cr (from ₹242 Cr), and the firm remains debt-free with 30.7% PAT margin and 24.4% ROE.
The stock may face near-term pressure given the 30% PAT decline and weak Q4, though the large IPO pipeline and strong cash position provide medium-term support. Investors should monitor Q1 FY27 deal execution to gauge recovery from the Q4 slowdown.
