Data Patterns reported strong FY25 results with revenue from operations rising to ₹708.35 Cr from ₹519.80 Cr, a growth of about 36%. Profit after tax grew about 22% to ₹221.81 Cr (from ₹181.69 Cr), and EPS rose to ₹39.62 from ₹32.45. For Q4 FY25 alone, revenue was around ₹396 Cr with PAT of ₹114 Cr, sharply higher than the preceding quarter. The Board recommended a final dividend of ₹7.90 per share (face value ₹2) for FY25, subject to shareholder approval at the AGM on August 8, 2025. Statutory auditor Deloitte Haskins & Sells issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results. However, despite the strong profit, cash flow from operations turned negative at about ₹-70.57 Cr for the year, driven mainly by a ₹198 Cr jump in trade receivables and a ₹51 Cr build-up in inventories.
The robust revenue growth and clean audit opinion are positive signals, but the sharp swing to negative operating cash flow — caused by rising receivables and inventory — is a key concern investors should watch as it points to working capital stress. The ₹7.90 final dividend offers a reasonable income for shareholders and reflects management's confidence, while the AGM and dividend record date will be the near-term catalysts.
