Datamatics reported FY26 revenue of INR 1,987 crore, up 15.3% YoY, with a 5-year revenue CAGR of 14.2%. Q4FY26 showed particularly strong margin recovery — EBITDA margin expanded sharply to 21.3% (vs 15.0% in Q4FY25) and EBIT margin to 16.9% (vs 11.0%), driven by robust performance in Digital Operations (revenue INR 299.5 crore, EBIT margin 23.2%). However, Digital Experiences continued to struggle with a 15.8% YoY revenue decline and thin 4.4% EBIT margin. PAT after NCI for FY26 was INR 194.2 crore (down 5.3% YoY), impacted by exceptional items including labour code changes and contingent consideration fair value changes. The company maintained healthy financials with net cash and investments of INR 639 crore. The Board recommended a dividend of INR 5 per share. The presentation highlights AI-powered product portfolio (TruAI, TruCap+, TruBot, FINATO) and deal wins in insurance, logistics, and banking verticals.
The sharp margin expansion in Q4FY26 is positive and suggests improved operational efficiency, but the declining PAT and weak Digital Experiences segment warrant caution. The strong cash position and dividend provide shareholder comfort.
