Urvashi Tilakdhar has acquired 25,45,373 shares (2.93% of paid-up capital) of DCM Shriram Industries through inter-family gift transfers from Akshay Dhar (12,73,560 shares, 1.46%) and Aditi Dhar (12,71,813 shares, 1.46%) on 25 March 2026. The transaction was carried out for consolidation of family holding and is exempt from open offer requirements under Regulation 10(1)(a)(i) of SEBI (SAST) Regulations, 2011, as it is a gift between immediate relatives. Post-transaction, Urvashi Tilakdhar's holding rose from 6.77% (58,89,611 shares) to 9.70% (84,34,984 shares), while both sellers' stakes dropped to zero.
No cash transaction occurred - this is a passive internal reshuffle of promoter-family holdings, so it is unlikely to materially impact stock price. It slightly increases the controlling family's combined stake and signals promoter confidence in the business through consolidation of holdings.
