CRISIL Ratings has re-affirmed its 'Crisil A1+' rating on DCM Shriram's Commercial Paper programme, which is the highest short-term credit rating, indicating very strong capacity to meet obligations. Alongside the re-affirmation, CRISIL has also enhanced (increased) the Commercial Paper programme limit from Rs. 600 Crore to Rs. 700 Crore, giving the company Rs. 100 Crore of additional short-term borrowing capacity. The rating action was communicated via CRISIL's letter dated 22nd August 2025. The re-affirmation at the top rating signals continued strong financial health and credibility with lenders.
Positive for shareholders — retention of the highest short-term rating keeps borrowing costs low, while the larger Rs. 700 Crore CP limit gives the company greater short-term funding flexibility, useful for working capital needs.
