DCM Shriram has commenced renewable power injection from its Wind Solar Hybrid Renewable Power Project at Kota Complex. The project, with a total capacity of ~68 MW (~34 MW average), is being set up through SPV JSW Renew Energy Thirty Two Limited to replace existing coal-based 40 MW power. Currently, partial capacity of ~15 MW average has started generating and injecting power. This is part of the company's transition from coal to renewable energy.
Positive for shareholders as the company is progressing on its renewable energy transition plan, reducing coal dependency and potentially lowering long-term energy costs at its Kota Complex.
