De Nora India reported Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) revenue from operations of ₹4,196.93 lakhs, more than tripling from ₹1,275.82 lakhs in Q1 FY25, a jump of roughly 229% year-on-year. Total income rose to ₹4,432.63 lakhs from ₹1,410.09 lakhs. However, profit after tax grew only modestly to ₹324.92 lakhs from ₹288.18 lakhs (about 13% growth), and profit before tax margin on revenue compressed sharply to around 10.5% from roughly 30.4% a year ago, dragged by a large warranty provision of ₹348.89 lakhs (versus just ₹22.60 lakhs in Q1 FY25) and other expenses nearly doubling to ₹1,071.57 lakhs. Basic EPS stood at ₹6.12 versus ₹5.43. Statutory auditor Price Waterhouse Chartered Accountants LLP issued an unmodified review opinion, and the results were recommended by the Audit Committee and approved by the Board on July 30, 2025.
Strong top-line growth is positive, but the steep fall in profit margins and a sharply higher warranty provision suggest cost pressures that may concern investors in the near term. Watch margin trends in coming quarters to confirm whether this is a one-off or a structural shift; results are unlikely to be a strong positive catalyst given the margin compression despite revenue surge.
