JMG Corporation Ltd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Gujarat Energy Research and Management Institute (GERMI) for a strategic collaboration in climate-focused and sustainability-driven business operations across Gujarat and other Indian states. The partnership covers five major areas: carbon credit identification, registration and monetization; ESG and CBAM advisory for industries; biochar development from sewage treatment plant sludge; CSR-based rural sustainability programs; and joint project management consultancy in clean energy and sustainable infrastructure. No monetary consideration has been exchanged at this stage and the agreement is domestic. The collaboration is not a related party transaction. The filing was made under SEBI Regulation 30 disclosures.
This MoU gives JMG access to new revenue streams in carbon credit aggregation, ESG advisory, biochar projects, and CSR execution, while leveraging GERMI's policy and research expertise.
