Deccan Gold Mines filed its January 2026 investor presentation on BSE and disclosed one-on-one and group meetings with several institutional investors, including IIFL Capital, Kotak Mahindra AMC, Abakkus, Dron Capital, MK Ventures and Subhkam Ventures. Key updates: pre-commissioning trials at the Jonnagiri gold mine have produced about 40 kg of gold in doré bars, and similar trials are underway at the Altyn Tor mine in Kyrgyzstan (60% stake), targeting 350 kg of annual production and roughly USD 50M revenue in FY26-27. A recently over-subscribed rights issue was used to pay down debt and fund 2026 exploration. New additions include a tungsten project in Spain, a Ni-Cu-PGE discovery at Bhalukona, and a new Cu-Au zone in Mozambique. The company reiterated a 2030 goal of becoming a mid-tier gold and critical minerals producer with combined production of about 2 tonnes per year from Altyn Tor and Jonnagiri.
The active investor outreach, combined with a clear production ramp-up roadmap and debt reduction from the rights issue, should improve visibility on the company's growth story. For shareholders, the near-term catalysts are first gold pours at Jonnagiri and Altyn Tor, while longer-term upside depends on execution in Mozambique, Finland and Spain.
