DEE Development Engineers reported its consolidated order book position as of 31st May 2025 at ₹1,255.92 crores, marginally lower than the opening balance of ₹1,274.58 crores. During the month, the company secured new orders worth ₹56.65 crores while executing ₹75.31 crores of work, so execution outpaced fresh inflows. The Oil & Gas segment dominates with ₹921.29 crores (~73% of the book), followed by Power at ₹223.94 crores in the parent entity. The Thailand subsidiary holds export orders of about ₹68.17 crores across Power and Oil & Gas. Separately, the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission revised tariffs for the company's power division to ₹5.255/unit and for Malwa Power to ₹3.50/unit post expiry of the PPA on 26.04.2025; the company has filed a review petition against the revised rates.
A slightly shrinking order book is not concerning as execution is running ahead of new inflows, showing healthy order conversion. However, the downward tariff revision by the Punjab regulator for the biomass power business is a near-term negative for power segment realisations, and investors should watch the outcome of the company's review petition.
