Deepak Fertilizers has sent reminder letters to shareholders who have unpaid/unclaimed dividends for seven or more consecutive years (from FY 2018-19 onwards). Under Section 124(6) of the Companies Act 2013, the company is required to transfer both the unclaimed dividend amount and the underlying shares to the IEPF Authority's demat account. The deadline for shareholders to claim their dividends is 31st August 2026. Shareholders must submit KYC documents (PAN, address proof, cancelled cheque, and a filled Application-cum-Undertaking) to the company's RTA, KFin Technologies Ltd. If no response is received by the deadline, the company will transfer the shares to IEPF without further notice, and no claims against the company will be entertained thereafter.
Shareholders who fail to claim by 31st August 2026 will lose their unclaimed dividends and the corresponding shares will be compulsorily transferred to the IEPF demat account, with the original share certificates being cancelled. Affected shareholders should act immediately to protect their holdings.
