Deepak Nitrite reported Q4 FY26 revenue of ₹2,127 crore with strong 74% quarter-on-quarter EBITDA growth to ₹383 crore. Full year FY26 revenue declined 5% to ₹7,947 crore due to pricing pressure and geopolitical disruptions affecting global supply chains. EBITDA for FY26 fell 11% to ₹1,041 crore while PAT dropped 21% to ₹551 crore. The company achieved highest-ever production and sales in the Phenolics segment and improved Q4 EBITDA margin to 18% from 11% in Q3 through cost optimization, backward integration, and favourable product mix. Key investments include a new ₹100 crore R&D centre and the polycarbonate project targeting 165,000 MT/yr capacity with commissioning planned for 2028.
The sequential margin recovery in Q4 is positive, but full-year performance decline reflects challenging industry conditions. The stock may see mixed reaction given the revenue decline offset by improved Q4 profitability and the company's strategic investments in capacity expansion and supply chain resilience.
