Deepak Chem Tech Limited (DCTL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Deepak Nitrite, has issued 12 crore 9% Optionally Convertible Redeemable Preference Shares (OCRPS) at ₹100 each to Deepak Phenolics Limited (DPL), another wholly owned subsidiary. The total infusion amounts to ₹120 crore and was completed on May 30, 2026. The transaction qualifies as a Related Party Transaction but is conducted at arms length. Funds will be used to strengthen DCTL's capital base and support its ongoing projects including Fluorination, Nitric Acid, Nitration, and Hydrogenation plants in Gujarat. DCTL's turnover grew significantly from ₹0.86 crore in FY2023-24 to ₹172.23 crore in FY2025-26.
This is an intra-group capital transfer with no direct impact on Deepak Nitrite's public shareholders or stock price. It reflects the company's strategy to fund subsidiary expansion from internal resources rather than external borrowing.
