Defrail Technologies Ltd has clarified to BSE why it delayed submitting an XBRL filing for a purchase order it had announced earlier. The original order was for approximately Rs. 1.48 crore for the supply of Air Brake Hose couplings for brake/feed pipes, which the company had intimated in PDF format on March 26, 2026. Under a new BSE compliance rule introduced in July 2025, the same announcement had to be filed in XBRL format within 24 hours, which the company missed. The company says this was an unintentional oversight, not an attempt to hide information, and has now submitted the XBRL filing. The Managing Director has signed off on the apology and committed to improving internal systems to avoid repeats.
This is a procedural compliance lapse rather than a business issue — the underlying order remains intact. However, it may concern investors about the company's internal disclosure controls and could attract minor regulatory scrutiny from BSE.
