Delton Cables reported its highest-ever revenue and profit after tax for FY25. Full-year revenue grew 76% YoY to ₹710.9 crore, while PAT rose 40% to ₹20.5 crore. Q4 FY25 revenue jumped 52% YoY to ₹202.7 crore, with EBITDA margin expanding to 8% (from 6.9% in Q4 FY24), a 180 bps sequential gain. Capacity utilisation improved sharply to 81% in FY25 from 44% in FY22. The company has an order book of ₹300 crore as of March 31, 2025, largely from the higher-margin EPC segment. Working capital days improved to 109 from 218 in FY22, and ROE/ROCE stood at 23%/17%. The board declared a 20% dividend (₹2/share).
Strong revenue growth, improving margins, and a healthy order book suggest positive momentum for the stock. However, rising borrowings (up to ₹171.4 crore from ₹113.1 crore) and a slight Q4 PAT decline due to higher finance costs and depreciation are points to watch. Overall, the multi-year transformation story appears intact.
