Delton Cables posted Q1 FY26 revenue from operations of Rs. 15,633.18 lakhs, up about 9% from Rs. 14,347.59 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Net profit stood at Rs. 308.27 lakhs, marginally higher than Rs. 302.28 lakhs a year ago, translating to an EPS of Rs. 3.57 (vs Rs. 3.50). Total expenses rose faster than revenue, driven by sharp jumps in employee costs (up ~58%) and finance costs (up ~48%), which kept profit growth modest. The statutory auditors (Bansal & Co LLP) issued an unmodified (clean) limited review opinion on the results. The Board also approved the appointment of Mr. Ankit Arora as Whole-Time Director replacing Mr. Shashi Kumar Sharma who resigned for personal reasons, and fixed September 19, 2025 as the record date for the final dividend, if declared at the September 26 AGM.
Revenue growth is healthy but rising employee and finance costs are pressuring margins, resulting in flat bottom-line growth — a mixed quarter for shareholders. The director change and pending dividend declaration are routine governance items with no immediate material impact on the stock.
