Dhampur Bio Organics reported standalone revenue of ₹3,106.17 Cr for FY26, up 14.4% from ₹2,714.40 Cr in FY25. Net profit more than doubled to ₹24.97 Cr from ₹12.09 Cr, a 107% YoY jump driven by higher sugar segment profitability (Sugar segment revenue grew to ₹1,815.98 Cr from ₹1,748.21 Cr). PBT before exceptional items stood at ₹40.29 Cr vs ₹22.80 Cr prior year. EBITDA margin compressed slightly to ~5.2% from ~5.7% YoY. The board declared a dividend of ₹1.50 per share (15%) and approved multiple items including acquisition of Sonitron Chemicals Pvt Ltd, redesignation of Gautam Goel as Chairman & CEO, and revisions to related party remuneration. The Income Tax Department conducted a search in October–November 2025; management stated no adjustments were required. Auditors issued an unmodified opinion. Post-balance sheet, the company entered a Business Transfer Agreement to sell its Meerganj sugar unit for ₹305 Cr.
Strong bottom-line growth with PAT doubling YoY is positive, but slower revenue growth (~14%) and margin compression could limit further upside. The ₹305 Cr disposal of Meerganj unit post-year-end is a major structural event shareholders should monitor as it affects future revenue base. The IT search is a watch item.
