Dhampur Sugar Mills reported FY26 consolidated net profit of ₹65.33 crore, up 24.6% from ₹52.42 crore in FY25, falling just short of 25% growth. Consolidated revenue from operations grew 5.7% to ₹2,807.57 crore from ₹2,656.38 crore. The company bought back 10.8 lakh shares (1.65% of capital) for ₹20 crore at ₹185/share, reducing share capital to ₹64.30 crore. The Income Tax Department conducted a search under Section 132 in October-November 2025 at the parent and a subsidiary; management states no material financial impact is expected. Auditors issued unmodified (clean) opinions on both standalone and consolidated financial statements. The board recommended re-appointment of two directors and declared a 20% (₹2 per share) dividend.
Net profit growth of ~24.6% YoY is strong but marginally below the 25% threshold. The share buyback and income tax search are noteworthy but the clean audit opinion and positive cash generation from operations (₹243 crore) are reassuring for investors.
