Dhampure Specialty Sugars reported strong consolidated revenue of Rs 1,476.19 lakh for Q2 FY26, up about 75% from Rs 841.65 lakh in Q2 FY25. For the half year (H1 FY26), consolidated net sales rose to Rs 2,472.83 lakh from Rs 1,543.14 lakh, a jump of roughly 60%. Consolidated net profit for H1 FY26 grew about 76% to Rs 291.61 lakh, with EPS of Rs 3.34 versus Rs 2.09 in the same period last year. On a standalone basis too, H1 revenue grew around 72% and net profit rose about 37% to Rs 274.72 lakh. The company is virtually debt-free with Rs 630.51 lakh in cash, and raised Rs 276 lakh via share capital during the period as promoter-group members converted their warrants into equity.
Sharp top-line and profit growth signals improving business momentum and a stronger balance sheet, which is supportive for shareholders. Sugar being a seasonal industry, the half-yearly picture is more meaningful than any single quarter, and the strong performance is likely to be viewed positively by the market.
