Dhanvantri Jeevan Rekha Ltd, which operates Dhanvantri Hospital in Meerut, reported its unaudited financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025). Net sales from operations came in at ₹561 lakhs, down slightly from ₹570 lakhs in the same quarter last year, while total income stood at ₹558 lakhs versus ₹578 lakhs previously. Total expenses were largely flat at ₹552 lakhs (vs ₹562 lakhs). Profit from operations before tax fell sharply to ₹6 lakhs from ₹16 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Profit after tax dropped to ₹5 lakhs compared to ₹16 lakhs earlier, a decline of nearly 69%. Basic and diluted EPS stood at ₹0.15 versus ₹0.38 in the year-ago quarter. The statutory auditors have issued a limited review report on the results.
Despite relatively stable top-line, profitability took a significant hit, indicating margin pressure for the hospital business. Shareholders should view this as a weak quarter, though the small absolute size of the company limits broader market impact.
