Diamond Power Infrastructure has received a letter of intent from Adani Energy Solutions Limited to supply 24,080 kilometres of AL-59 high-performance conductors worth ₹1,349.11 crore. The conductors will be used in major transmission projects including Jamnagar, Khavda-IV D, HVDC, Navinal-II, and Mahan-II, with execution to be completed by June 2028. This is a domestic order and is not a related-party transaction. With this win, the company's consolidated order book now stands at ₹2,800 crore, giving it strong revenue visibility for the next two years. The company has already expanded its AL-59 conductor capacity from 24,000 MTPA to 1,00,000 MTPA to support such large orders.
This is a very large order — the contract value is bigger than the company's entire FY25 turnover of about ₹1,115 crore, so it materially boosts future revenue and reflects strong demand for high-performance conductors in India's grid upgrade cycle. This is a positive development for shareholders and should support the stock sentiment.
