Digital Fibre Infrastructure Trust (InvIT) submitted its Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) financial results, reviewed by statutory auditor Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP with an unmodified opinion. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations was ₹1,458 crore and profit after tax was ₹470 crore, nearly flat compared to ₹1,467 crore and ₹473 crore in Q1 FY25. Consolidated revenue was ₹4,643 crore, but the trust reported a consolidated loss after tax of ₹101 crore due to large depreciation, amortisation, and finance costs at the SPV level (Jio Digital Fibre Pvt Ltd). NAV per unit stood at ₹112.55, supported by total assets of ₹54,909 crore and 195 crore units outstanding. The trust distributed ₹476 crore (₹2.44 per unit) to unitholders on June 27, 2025, meeting the 90%+ NDCF distribution requirement. Total consolidated borrowings remained high at ₹1,19,595 crore with a net borrowings ratio of 54.11%, and the credit rating is CARE AAA/Stable. The trust deed and investment management agreement were amended to give unitholders nomination rights as per SEBI norms.
For unitholders, distributions remain steady at ₹2.44/unit but the consolidated bottom-line loss highlights heavy leverage and non-cash charges at the SPV level. The high debt of ₹1.19 lakh crore and 54% borrowings ratio mean interest rate movements will continue to heavily influence cash distributions.
