Dipna Pharmachem reported a mixed set of numbers for H1 FY26 (April–September 2025). Net sales fell to Rs. 7,232.83 lakhs, down about 20% from Rs. 9,062.38 lakhs in the same period last year. Despite the revenue drop, the company posted a sharp jump in profitability, with profit before tax rising more than four times to Rs. 190.65 lakhs (from Rs. 45.52 lakhs) and net profit climbing to Rs. 141.10 lakhs (from Rs. 33.67 lakhs), taking EPS to Rs. 0.59 from Rs. 0.14. Total expenses were trimmed to Rs. 7,163.46 lakhs, helping operating margins expand significantly. However, operating cash flow turned deeply negative at Rs. (1,771.13) lakhs, driven by a steep rise in trade receivables and inventories. The auditor (Devadiya & Associates) issued an unmodified review report. The company also confirmed no deviation in the use of proceeds from its earlier Rights Issue and a fresh Preferential Issue of convertible warrants (Rs. 18.93 crore received in September 2025) earmarked for working capital and general corporate purposes.
The profit growth and margin expansion are positive signals, but a 20% revenue decline and a large negative operating cash flow raise concerns about working-capital stress and the quality of earnings. Shareholders should watch for improvement in receivables collection and a return to positive operating cash flow in upcoming quarters; the fresh warrant money provides short-term liquidity cushion.
