Kundan Minerals and Metals Ltd (formerly Eastern Sugar & Industries) published its unaudited consolidated financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2025 in Financial Express and Jansatta. Total income from operations nearly doubled YoY to Rs. 315,032.56 lakhs in Q3 FY26 from Rs. 165,484.12 lakhs in Q3 FY25, while net profit after tax rose about 51% to Rs. 10,544.50 lakhs from Rs. 6,962.66 lakhs. For the nine-month period, total income rose to Rs. 333,785.09 lakhs (vs Rs. 160,307.93 lakhs) and net profit grew to Rs. 9,833.77 lakhs. Basic EPS for Q3 stood at Rs. 17.44 vs Rs. 11.51 last year. The company operates in a single segment — precious metals and related products.
Strong YoY growth in revenue and profits, along with a healthy EPS jump, is a positive signal for shareholders. However, an Income Tax survey under Section 133A was conducted on group companies on January 28, 2026 and remains pending, which is a near-term overhang worth monitoring.
