Piramal Pharma has started commercial production of Sevoflurane, an inhalation anesthetic, at its Digwal facility in Telangana. This adds a new manufacturing location to the company's existing Sevoflurane production capabilities at Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA. The new capacity is expected to help the company target Inhalation Anesthesia opportunities in Rest of World (ROW) markets in addition to the USA.
