Dishman Carbogen Amcis shared its investor presentation for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025. Q2 FY26 net revenue fell 17.3% year-on-year to ₹6,526.5 mn, mainly because Q2 FY25 had a one-time base effect of a deferred commercial shipment worth CHF 9.8 mn. H1 FY26 revenue was up 3.6% at ₹13,607 mn. Despite the weak Q2 top line, EBITDA margin expanded sharply to 22.8% in Q2 and 21.3% in H1 (from 18.7% and 13.4% a year ago), driven by higher contribution from late Phase III molecules in the CDMO segment. H1 PAT swung to ₹886.8 mn from a loss of ₹444.8 mn last year. Net debt dropped to CHF 141.43 mn from CHF 157.6 mn in March 2025, and capex of USD 13.3 mn was incurred in H1. The company also highlighted a CHF 115 mn new product development pipeline, 12 molecules in late Phase III, and progress in its ADC bioconjugation business.
Margin expansion and debt reduction are positive for shareholders, but the sharp Q2 revenue decline may raise short-term concerns despite management attributing it to a one-off base effect. Watch for sustained CDMO growth and commercial conversion of late Phase III molecules.
