Dixon Technologies has completed its joint venture transaction with Singapore-based Longcheer Intelligence Pte. Ltd. in Dixtel Infocom Private Limited, originally announced on 14th February 2026. Dixon invested INR 7.39 Crores for a 74% stake while Longcheer invested INR 2.60 Crores for 26%, bringing Dixtel's total paid-up capital to INR 10 Crores. As a result, Dixtel — previously a wholly owned subsidiary of Dixon — has ceased to be so. Dixtel will operate in the ODM space, manufacturing smartphones, tablets, true wireless stereo devices, smartwatches, AI PCs, automotive electronics, and healthcare devices, with a focus on localising non-semiconductor sub-component manufacturing in India. Dixtel had no turnover in FY24 and FY25 and a marginal negative net worth as of December 2025.
Positive for shareholders — this JV brings a global ODM partner (Longcheer) into Dixon's fold, strengthening its design-led manufacturing capabilities and supporting the company's electronics manufacturing expansion. The investment amount is small relative to Dixon's size, so near-term financial impact is limited, but the strategic value is significant for future revenue potential.
