Dodla Dairy reported its highest-ever annual revenue of ₹41,252 Mn (up 10.9% YoY) and quarterly revenue of ₹10,745 Mn (up 18.1% YoY). Milk sales volume reached a record 14.0 LLPD with 19.5% YoY growth. However, profitability was under pressure with EBITDA down 19% to ₹3,085 Mn and EBITDA margin contracting to 7.5% from 10.2% in FY25. The company attributed this to elevated milk procurement costs (up 9.7% YoY) that were not fully passed on to consumers to maintain market share. PAT grew modestly by 2.7% to ₹2,670 Mn, aided by a one-time tax credit of ₹292 Mn from a favorable ITAT ruling. Africa business delivered strong performance with 48% YoY revenue growth and highest-ever EBITDA of ₹184 Mn.
The stock may face near-term pressure due to margin compression despite revenue growth being volume-driven. The one-time tax credit artificially inflated PAT, masking underlying profitability weakness from raw milk cost inflation.
