Dredging Corporation of India reported standalone audited financial results for the year ended March 31, 2026. Total income increased to Rs 1,21,409.84 lakhs from Rs 1,13,315.85 lakhs (restated), showing revenue growth of about 7%. The company swung from a net loss of Rs 3,379.66 lakhs in FY 2024-25 to a net profit of Rs 1,478.51 lakhs in FY 2025-26. EPS improved from Rs -12.07 (restated) to Rs 5.28. The statutory auditor Mis Grandhy & Co gave an unmodified opinion on the financial results. An Emphasis of Matter was included regarding DCI Dredger XI being classified as held for sale after board approval for disposal as scrap. The previous year's figures were restated due to a prior period error where Rs 14.81 crores was incorrectly recognized as revenue and expenses instead of advances.
The company returned to profitability after two consecutive years of losses, which is positive for shareholders. The auditors gave a clean opinion with no qualifications. However, operating profit margins remain very thin at 0.17%.
