Dynavision Ltd's subsidiary, Dynavision Green Solutions Limited, has approved a Phase 3 capacity addition of 450 kW at its Aruppukottai Solar Power Plant (ASPP). The subsidiary will enter into a Power Sale and Purchase Agreement (PSPP) with Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited to sell solar power under a captive consumption arrangement. The project will be funded through a mix of internal accruals and external debt. Separately, Dynavision Ltd's Board has approved extending a corporate guarantee in favour of HDFC Bank for a loan being taken by the subsidiary.
The capacity addition signals the subsidiary's continued expansion in the solar power segment and strengthens the captive power business relationship with Apollo Hospitals. The corporate guarantee exposes the parent company to contingent liabilities on behalf of the subsidiary, which investors should monitor.
